If we took a poll asking citizens to describe their least and most favorite days of the week, I'm sure Monday would be at the top of the least favorite list, and Friday would likely edge out Saturday. Personally, I've learned to look at Monday from a different perspective. Instead of seeing Monday as the first day of the work week, I see Monday as a new beginning; the start of a new week with so many opportunities. Mondays remind me of my favorite number eight (8). By definition, the number eight (8) stands for a new beginning.

Did you leave anything undone last week that you would like to tackle today? Is there unfinished business that you would like to check off your to-do list? If so, today is a good day and an opportunity to seize the moment. Instead of seeing today as the start of a new workweek, look at it as a day of new beginnings.
