HAPPY | REFLECTIVE | MEANINGFUL

Today is MLK Day, a day of reflection. The sermon King preached just a few days before his assassination is prophetic and still sends chills up and down my spine every time I watch and listen to the video. I am forever grateful for the sacrifices made by King, the King family, and many others; sacrifices that helped move this country toward the realization of a better America for all people. 

I encourage you to set aside time to reflect upon and thank God for the many sacrifices made by others; sacrifices that made the freedoms we enjoy today possible. Let's honor King's legacy of civil rights and community action with service and compassion.
