As I continue my preparations to share my testimony during our upcoming Community Candlelight Vigil - A Light to Remember, the Holy Spirit deposited three (3) thoughts into my spirit this morning. Today, I would like to share those thoughts with you and encourage you to share them with others.
During my prayer meditation period I listened attentively to the late-esteemed Dr. Myles Monroe as he prayed these words:
"Let my words bring Healing"
"Let my actions bring Hope"
"Let my presence bring Peace"
Each opportunity I'm provided to testify I do so because my testimony always gives hope to another person grieving the death of their loved one. When I went through my own grief I had no idea that getting to the other side of that grief would result in me writing a book, facilitating grief-support groups, and speaking, teaching, and preaching on the topic of grief and recovery.
Let me tell you what I want:
I want my words to bring healing. I want my actions to bring hope. I want my presence to bring peace. That's what I want. I hope you desire the same.
Since today is my birthday, I do have one additional request. As a gift to me, please register for our upcoming Community Candlelight Vigil - A Light to Remember.
