I would like to thank pastors Ron Carpenter, Miles McPherson, Mark Chironna, and others for publicly speaking out against the insulting depiction of the Obamas. Instead of writing an extensive devotional today, my wife shared a video with me that I believe God is leading me to share with you.   

In your spirit today, I encourage you to carry the words of Nelson Mandela, who said, "For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others."
