One Prayer at a Time - Prayer-5 (P5)
Today, let's continue my series "One Prayer at a Time" with Prayer-5 (P5). James 4:2 remains our scripture foundation: "You have not because you ask not." The meaning behind James' statement centers around him warning Christians to avoid insecurities/shortcuts when it comes to prayer.
Insecurities/Shortcuts like:
- Creating an atmosphere of conflict/jealousy
- Scheming to block the blessings of others because of your own insecurities
James is simply instructing the saints to trust God to bless each Christian in accordance to His will, and not worry about or compare ourselves to how God is blessing others. Let's celebrate each others successes.
