Fall is my favorite season of the year. I enjoy and am thankful to God for every season, but Fall holds a special place in my heart for so many reasons:

The Crisp Air

Enjoying a Slice of Pumpkin Pie and/or a Pumpkin Spice Latte

Wearing my Favorite Sweaters

Preparing for the Approaching Holiday Season and more...

My list of things to do and enjoy during Fall can go on and on, because there are so many things to be thankful for.

There are many metaphors the Fall season symbolizes:

Assessing Life - Where are you now, and what direction would you like to take in your life journeys?

Embracing Change - Learning to embrace the unknown instead of running from it.

Learning to Let Go - Making room for other life journeys often requires first letting go.

As you prepare for what life has in store for you today, please carry this Discipleship Devotional in your spirit, heart, and mind, along with the wise words of B. Oakman who said, "Every season is one of becoming, but not always one of blooming. Be gracious with your ever-evolving self."

As you approach the coming of a new season, take the time to assess where things stand in your life as you prepare to embrace necessary change and learn to let go of some things to make room for others.
