Yesterday, I was grocery shopping. While waiting in line, the lady in front of me was telling the cashier that her day had been one drama episode after another. I thought to myself, we all have something to complain about. Then I thought again, we have more to be thankful for. We all have our days, but the good outweighs the bad. I know it doesn't feel that way sometimes, especially when you feel the weight of the world upon your shoulders. I felt that way when my wife died from cancer. It took more than two (2) years for the fog in my life to lift and for me, with my new life-lenses,  to start seeing things more clearly. We all have life stories we can tell.

When you're tempted to only see what's wrong in your life, ask God to help you see what's right. If you need a little help today, remember the words of Christine Caine, who said, "Sometimes when you're in a dark place you think you've been buried, but you've actually been planted."

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."
