I hope each of my subscribers enjoyed a Happy New Year. My goals for 2026 are now in place, and I hope you can say the same. A new year always comes with new opportunities, but with each opportunity we must be flexible, because goals sometimes change, whether we like it or not.

My primary goals for 2026 are:

  1. Strengthen my relationship with God.
  2. Strengthen my love for my wife by being the husband God has called me to be, despite the spiritual attacks that will always come from the enemy.
  3. Improve upon every opportunity to be a godly example of fatherhood to all of our children.
  4. Keep self-care as a primary focus in my life.
  5. Complete writing my second book no later than June of this year (2026).
  6. Expand the educational and counseling service components of the nonprofit (LifeLine Ministries CRS, Inc.) I serve as president by June of this year, 2026.
  7. Complete the relaunch of LifePoint with in-person worship services taking place on the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend (2026) if not sooner.

I hope you noticed that my first goal involves my relationship with God and my second goal involves my relationship with my wife. Regardless of the number of goals you have in place, if you are married, your first three goals should always be:

  1. God
  2. Spouse
  3. Children

Why is the above order so important? It's important because the enemy will first attack your marriage, then your family. Remember, if the enemy can destroy your home, then all of your other goals will crumble before your eyes.

As for me and my house, the order will always be God, spouse, and children. In that order.
