WHEN I DON'T UNDERSTAND...

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10  

Lord knows, there are times when I don't understand or have a clue about what He's doing in my life. I'm sure you, too, can relate to what I'm writing. I've learned —and continue to learn —to trust God when I don't understand, because God often moves when least expected. Just yesterday, I saw God work in my life in a powerful way and at an unexpected time. I've been praying about certain things and have wondered why God allows some things to happen. With every wonder and every single question I ask, God answers. This time, He responded when I least expected it. I encourage you to trust God more when you don't understand. He always provides an answer. As my parents often said, "He may not come when you want Him, but He's always on time."  

As you set aside time to prepare for what life has in store for you today, please carry this Discipleship Devotional in your spirit, heart, and mind. Don't just trust God when you can clearly see your path and understand what He's doing in your life. Trust God more when you don't understand.
