Don't Give Up
Have you ever worked on something for a long time and wanted to give up but the Holy Spirit wouldn't allow it? Yesterday, I experienced that very thing myself. There are certain ministry related items I've been working to rebuild following the devastation of the pandemic. At times, I've wanted to give up, but God won't let me. After yesterdays experience, God gave provided the hope I needed to continue the good fight. My experience was so revealing I had to write about it in my private journal. If there's something you're working on and you know you are going about it the right way, I encourage you not to give up because God will see you through.
For today's Discipleship Devotional, I would like to share with you a few reasons why you shouldn't give up:
- What doesn't kill you can makes you stronger.
- The closer you get to your dreams the further away you may feel. The dream is within your grasp.
- Your setbacks can set you up for a comeback.
- Your story can inspire others.
- Failure is not an option.
As you face today's challenges, remember the words of Winston Churchill who said, "Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusias."
Keep fighting the good fight and don't be afraid of getting into Good Trouble.
