By experience, I've learned the importance of being thankful when everything appears to go wrong. My wife and I were talking about some recent experiences that led us both to conclude that the Lord could have been protecting us from something unseen. We often have no idea what the Lord is protecting us from, because there are many spiritual battles we cannot see. Forttunately, we serve a God that can see all things. 

Maybe you are trying to leave the house early because you have some place to be, but no matter how hard you try, you experience one delay after the other. Before you overwhelm yourself with frustration, sadness, and/or anger, take a deep breath and consider the fact that God may be protecting you from unseen dangers. 

If you are facing barriers that's not of your making, I encourage you to move at God's pace, not your pace, because those barriers may not be a bad thing. God may be protecting you from things you cannot see.

Trust God in and through the process.
