I know Monday isn't the most exciting day of the week, because this beautiful day often reminds us that the weekend has departed and it's time to get back to business. Even with that reality, we still have much to be thankful for, including Monday mornings. For my family, we rise and shine by the grace of God each morning at 6:00 AM, and begin the task of getting the kids ready for school and us parents ready for work. With the help of our good friend (Mr. Coffee), we move slowly but surely towards the reality of the start of a new week. 

I'm now looking forward to sending some sunshine your way with my Happy Monday series. Hopefully, a few jokes will bring laughter and a smile to your face. Today, I would like to begin my series with some Monday morning humor from Imagine art:

REASONS FOR HAPPY MONDAY

  • "Dear Monday, my mama doesn't like you and she likes everyone."
  • "Monday: The day I bravely put on real clothes and pretend to be a functioning adult." 
  • "If each day is a gift, I'd like to know where to return Mondays." 

Look at the brightside. You have access to a substance (Coffee) that turns bitter bean water into a legal potion for alertness, and if you are a animal lover, you have a cat that gets up earlier than you do just to jump on your chest to make sure you get out of bed.
