Let's continue the How Life Make Me ___________ series with the word ANGRY. How Life Makes Me ANGRY. If we are honest with ourselves, there are life challenges everyone has experienced that makes you angry. Whether its a river of deep seated feelings where your trust has repeatedly been violated and wellbeng threatened to the point that it all mushrooms into betterness and outright anger. Maybe you've been stuffing your thoughts surrounding mistakes, disappointments, and failures you've experienced at the hands of people that felt threatened by your potential and willing to do everything possible to stop your ascension, or having to mask yourself day-in-and-day-out pretending that everything is OK when it's not OK. You may have every right to be angry, but is simply being angry enough?

Unresolved anger can hijack your joy, ambush your your spiritual, physical, and emotional health leaving you bitter, alone, and devistated. Considering such outcomes, we must be honest with ourselves and ask if it's worth it. For me, I can say without question, it's not. I determined a long time ago that I will not live in anger and bitterness no matter the violation. Remember, unresolved anger and bittnerness does more harm to you than to others.

As your carry today's Discipleship Devotional in your heart and mind, remember the words of Josh Shipp who said, "You either get better or you get bitter. It's simple. You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you." Josh Shipp
