Just Talking About it Isn't Nearly Enough

The first day of our men's discipleship training will take place today, beginning at 6:30 PM. I'm so excited about this opportunity because there is a need for additional support, financial and personnel resources, and other tangible resources.  

If you haven't been keeping up with male development, you may not realize the challenges that boys and young men, in particular, face today. Just talking about it is not nearly enough; real action is required. As stated in one of my previous devotionals, we need to help boys be boys and men be men. If not, what choices do we leave our ladies when it comes to being in a healthy and productive relationship with a man, the kind of relationship that leads to marriage and family? 

Men, it's not too late to register. We are excited about the number of men already registered, but there's room for more. All you have to do is fill out our Contact Us Form by clicking the link, then send us a note stating your interest, along with your name, phone number, and email address. 

Remember, becoming a man involves developing character, learning and practicing responsibility, and experiencing growth. It's much more than a biological outcome.
