I was blessed by God to earn my bachelor's degree in Biblical Counseling and Psychology and my master's degree in Christian Counseling and Psychology. I've received licensure as a Family Mediator and specialized training in Conflict Resolution and Conflict Management. I'm not bragging, but I am about to make a point. The point is, I have spent my entire ministry/career training and empowering people to resolve and properly manage conflict and to live healthy, productive lives.

My military service set me on this course, and I've never turned back. I learned many things throughout my military tenure, but the most important thing I learned is that there are better ways to resolve or manage conflict than by killing one another in war. Each time I see reports of another fallen soldier, I not only think about our soldiers, but all soldiers who have been thrown into war by people in power who don't have to pick up a weapon and fight for their lives and their country, but send young men and women to do just that.

Today, I ask each of my subscribers to pray:

1. For soldiers and civilians caught up in this war.

2. That our leaders seek peace instead of ongoing confrontation.

3. That the war with Iran ends soon.

In many ways, war takes much-needed resources from the needy and causes generational destruction that impacts all sides. Remember the words of General William Tecumseh Sherman (Military Leader, 1820-1891, USA) who said, "I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation. War is hell."
