Missing out on a blessing is something we all try to avoid. Remaining ready for what God has for each of us is important and should never be taken for granted and looked upon lightly. As God continues to bless our nonproifit LifeLine and our church plant LifePoint, I continue to trust that God will not only meet, but exceed our needs. 

Today, I would like to start a Discipleship Devotional series on prayer, and invite you to join us. James 4:2 says, "you have not because you ask not." Lets make sure we don't make that mistake. One of many ways to avoid such a costly error is by understanding that we should pray consistently, and accompany each request with spiritually-directed action. Believe it or not, God often answers our prayers by combining our request with action. That's right, there are times when we and/or people-resources are the answer to our own prayers. 

Instead of creating a laundry list of prayers, I'm going to share one prayer at a time with you over the next few days. You are more than welcome to respond in-kind. 

Today's Prayer Request

Prayer-1 (P1) People-Resources (Advisory Board for Church Planting) - I ask you to join the LifePoint family in praying for people resources. Under the supervision of our church sponsor/supporter (LifeLine Ministries CRS) an Advisory Board for Church Planting was created. God has led us to add additional board members and to make sure those additions include more people born and/or raised/familiar with Middle Georgia. Adding more people on the board that's originally from the areas in which we serve is the key to putting our prayers into spiritually-directed action. 

Pray that God blesses us with the people-resources we need.
