As the summer season nears an end for this year, I am now prepared for and have great expectations for Fall/Winter. Every year, I am blessed with the opportunity to give back, and so are you. When you go through a traumatic event, and God brings healing into your life, you should always find a way to give back. There are many ways to pass it forward.
Many of my subscribers know my testimony. I spent more than two (2) years grieving over my wife's (Brenda's) death (2016). As God lifted the thick layers of fog in my life and empowered me to start seeing life more clearly, I was once again led by God to my favorite scripture in the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) which says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." God guided my heart and protected my mind as He taught me to comfort others with the same comfort He provided me.
As seasons change, I encourage you to explore the changing seasons in your life. When you identify seasons involving pain and suffering, don't just thank God for protecting and healing you through your trauma, seek God's direction as to how you can comfort others with the same comfort God provided you.
God has the power and ability to turn a season of death into a season of resurrection.
